What is a virtual tour?
A virtual tour is a sequence of 360° images that are 'stitched' together to create an immersive, virtual model of a physical space (think Google Street View, but for the inside of buildings).
They can be viewed from a phone, tablet, computer, or even by using a VR headset.
How do you capture a space?
Our technicians use Theta Z1 360 cameras and Matterport to scan your space. These cameras produce digital 4k, high-resolution images and 3D data with 99% accuracy. This data is used to generate floor plans and other 3D add-ons.
How long does it take to create a space start to finish?
On average, it takes about an hour to capture a space under 2000 sqft. Our technicians then fine-tune the model. Based on the complexity of the space, it takes between 24-72 hours to be ready for use.
How do I get my information into the virtual tour?
Send us an email with all of the information you’d like to add (images, videos, links to e-commerce pages) and our technicians will add it into your model through Mattertags. Mattertags can be edited and updated at any time after the model is created.
How do I access my Me-Tour once it’s ready?
You will receive an email letting you know that your space is ready! In that email, you will be provided with two links: one to use on your social media, and one that can be added to your website.
I have my virtual tour, now what do I do with it?
Add it to your website to increase the amount of time people spend on your page! Share it on social media so that your viewers have a new way to shop your merchandise. Virtual tours are an amazing, cost-effective way to bring more traffic to your space at all times of day.
What if I don’t need my Me-Tour anymore?
Email us and let us know, and your monthly payments will be stopped after that month. Your space will be archived, and can be reactivated at any time.
